1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Just being there with intelligent, congenial people who were all involved in learning something unusual and useful from a wonderful young woman.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Be prepared to learn something interesting and challenging in a wonderful atmosphere, from a lovely person. Although, at age 78, I found the physical aspect of doing the actual felting a bit to much for me, and I wouldn't go back for another felting course, I can't stress enough how happy I am that I took the course, and I would gladly go back to Glen Affick if only to see the Hazeltons and what they have managed to do with the place.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

This holiday is entirely locally based and is run by people involved in building up the environment. We used only local people as resources - for buying fleece, learning spinning, felting the fleece on the trail of a horse, hired help for cooking etc.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was terrific! From being picked up by Alex in Inverness, where all four of us
immediately fell into conversation with him and each other, to falling in love with Rosie and little Thora, to the way in which the instruction was organised without being restricting, to the place Rosie rented for us to live in, to the meals and teas, to the all -around feeling of relaxation while doing physically exerting work, to... in other words, there was not one thing out of place.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

It was all good! The relaxation break offered us a variety of activities, as well as the opportunity to just be restful. The small size of the group meant it was possible to get to know the other guests quite well and there were many interesting conversations. The food was a highlight too and of course, the location.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

I think you would enjoy this holiday if you were interested in and open minded about alternative lifestyles, sustainability and matters of mind, body and spirit. At least that is what our group had in common.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Really good, much better than I was expecting, actually.
