1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The two day one night walk in Mount Aspiring national park. It was a very enjoyable walk and the sun, mountains, river and scenery was just stunning!
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
You don't need all the equipment that they list. Gaiters proved to be ineffective and unnecessary. If you want to avoid buying stuff then you can do the trip with minimal amounts of equipment. The one thing I would recommend you invest in is a good rain jacket.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
The trip was small, and we ensured that we behaved in an environmentally-friendly way.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Absolutely fantastic, I strongly recommend people go in this trip. If you are looking for an outdoors adventure, enjoy walking/scenery, or like Lord of the Rings, this is the trip for you. Honestly the best holiday I have ever been on. There was a good level of 'comfort' as well, not a hardcore trip in that sense.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Lots of excitement - whitewater rafting, canoeing on Clearwater, glacier walking - too many and individual to pinpoint just one!
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Make sure you pack lots of insect repellent and antihistamine tabs! If you have a thermorest mattress, recommend you take it since we found the mats provided - although had 2 each- weren't too comfortable for older bones!
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Most definitely. Everywhere we went, we were educated in eco-tourism and local firms/guides/hostels were used.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
A fantastic experience with a lovely, caring company, who 'went the extra mile'.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
We loved the overnight canoe trip at clear water. The scenery, lakes and canyons are breath taking but....... Seeing a black bear with her cubs eating dandelions and playing up a tree at the side of the highway was unforgettable!!
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
We were extremely lucky because we had the guide to ourselves!! However, people who book this trip must be used to camping and keeping things simple. If there are others on your trip you must also be able to compromise and socialise or the mini bus could be a challenge!! Our trip was June 20th and had good weather with only minimal rain.
There was no issue with bugs, just a few bites but you soon ignore them. I did loose some sleep worrying about the bears but no Canadian is concerned, as long as you keep your camp clean and no food or toiletries in you tent you will be safe!
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
We shopped locally and respected the park rules.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
We learnt a huge amount from our guide, which has given us a new desire to explore our own area even more. The constant natural wonders overwhelmed us and the wildlife was fantastic. The enthusiasm and love the Canadians we met have for the parks was very inspiring. We loved our honeymoon because it was very different from our usual beach luxury, and we wanted to do something we would always remember. We will cherish our memories forever.
