David Wilson review 5 Dec 20114 star rating

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Seeing 188 species of bird which were new to me and in the process experiencing the sights and the people of the two islands.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

The bird guided tours were very good from Asa Wright and from Blue Waters. In hindsight, as I'm not a sun/beach bather, I would have spent less nights at Blue Waters and gone to another part of the island (e.g. Pigeon Point) to explore. If you like to do some walking, the area around Blue Waters is very hilly and does not offer much in the way of trails.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes, both hotels employ a lot of local people and both, especially Asa Wright,
are environmentally friendly.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Excellent!
