1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
It was amazing to wake up in the morning and walk out onto the balcony with its beautiful view - spent a lot of time just sitting out there! The surrounding area is really lovely. Just down the road is a pretty area with benches overlooking the harbour - nice place to sit at night. We spent time exploring Gozo by car - it is very beautiful. Also visited Comino and of course the proximity to the ferry back to Malta is fantastic.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
We were very comfortable, apartment in beautiful condition. Even in hot weather you can open balcony doors at front and back and get a nice cool breeze. The complex is quiet and well-kept. The bed is larger than it appears in website photo and as two friends (not a couple) we were very comfortable. Shower pressure is not overly strong but is perfectly adequate. Supermarket is about five minutes walk, although we found our car very useful as we bought a lot of water which would have been difficult to carry - the tap water does not taste good. Kirsti and Carl who look after the apartment were great. They met us on arrival to give us keys and show us the apartment, and were available during our stay when we needed anything.
