1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Going on a 4 day trek with the friendly Berbers in the Valley MGouna and spending a day either side in the extremely tranquil Kasbah.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be prepared with good walking boots and possible foot care items if going on a trek If it is Ramadan, be aware that the Kasbah doesn't really serve lunch in the day (and the nearest town is a bit of a walk). You do get breakfast and delicious dinner though. You may wish to take pens to donate to an isolated school in one of the valleys (as all the children ask for them along the way but to give to them directly only encourages more pleading).
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
The Kasbah and the trek group are set up as a cooperative with good aims and practises.
4. Any other comments?
Firstly can I say thank you so much for replying so promptly to my initial requests about the Kasbah in Morocco. Just like my friend Emily Munn promised, you were extremely helpful. I will not hesitate to recommend you to my friends and will certainly consider using your assistance again. Our holiday overall was great and by far the best bit of it was the time we spent in the Kasbah and on the trek that we booked via you. (We also stayed in Riads in Marrakech and Essaouira) So thanks again. As a fairly widely travelled person, I can't say it was the best holiday ever, but I would certainly highly rate it and consider re-visiting Moroco (particularly Essaouria if I had children - as it is much more laid back than Marrakech). The trek was quite demanding but one of the most rewarding (in terms of views and being close to the local people) that I have been on.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The kasbah was friendly, peaceful, beautiful and visually brilliant. Ask for one of Mohamed's amazing Berber omelettes if it's not on the menu.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Definitely stay more than one night.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes. The staff were local and the Kasbah blended perfectly with the surroundings.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Perfect, exactly what we needed!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Many! An out worldly sunset over the river M'Goun; hiking in Megdaz with an elderly guide who left us in the dust in spite of our fancy trekking shoes and walking sticks; learning about Berber social and political issues from wonderful person and driver Mohammed; drumming our hearts out after dinner with Elias and "Mohammed2" in the heart-stealingly charming kashbah; an after-Ramadan breakfast banquet with our Bouthaghrar hosts... And all the attractions of, in or opinion, one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Enjoy mesmerizing, many - coloured Morocco, but take and interest and try and get to know the Amazigh people too: you'll be hooked for life.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes, we did. Good practices all over.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
We don't give her the 5 stars simply because it wouldn't be fair to some of the experiences we've been lucky to have in our quite long and eventful life.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
It's impossible to select the most exciting moment ...the sunrise in the desert, the roses festival in El Kelaa, the kasbah of Ait Ben Adout, the people we stayed with to talk and talk, the warmth of the people... But I want to say: this accommodation, it is one of the most cosmopolitan places I have ever been!!! Angel and his staff know the meaning of hospitality. The place is "breathless", the bill is ok, the dinner enjoyable.
2. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Of course!!
