Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

Central Andros Island beach resort, Bahamas, independent reviews

This lodge felt like being 15 years old again and going to an ocean science camp. Very warm interaction among couples, families and dive staff every night over unlimited cocktails and conch fritters, fresh fish, local Bahamian dishes, fresh salads, and many desserts. Lobster, Turkey, and Beef Filets were served for our Thanksgiving Feast as well as 23 dessert choices!
Only 20 beach front cabins are available and this is perfect. The REEF is pristine and abundant coral life abounds. It's a wonderful retreat for divers, snorkellers, and people who want to relax and just be able to explore many habitats and not worry about anything, (especially how you look in a bathing suit.) The dive staff plans individual adventures of your choice, boat trips to Blue Holes, Shark encounters, wall dives, snorkel sites, etc.
We had wonderful conversations with locals and learned much about the culture. Bikes are available to ride around the Island of Andros. Kayaks are a fun way to explore Fresh Creek and Mangroves. We saw a large octopus, swam with a wild dolphin and her baby, and viewed shrimp living right under the dock.
