Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
When were reached the sea front after a beautiful walk across the harbour. We could smell the sea side and were looking forward to staring at it. Then it was there, beautiful immaculate landscape.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
The Old Forge Chapel is surrounded by nature and fields, which is amazing but a bit of a mission for pedestrian visitors (obviously there's no 'pavement' on the road. probably better in summer). I reckon having a car would have been a bonus to travel around or go out at night.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Sandra and Charles are amazing people. They knowledge of the local environment and social issues is huge and they gave us a great insight in terms of environment and local people outcome. Their B&B is obviously totally eco-friendly, and I think it gave us, Londoners, a great foretaste of life in the countryside.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
This weekend was very relaxing for us. I believe you can make it even better with the local sport activities such as kite surf, sailing, etc... Probably for next time!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The kindness, energy and enthusiasm of our hosts.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Follow Sandra's restaurant recommendations.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Very much so. Sandra was passionate about the environment and local businesses, and went to great lengths to minimise the affect of the B&B on the environment while stimulating the local economy.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
We had a lovely time. Our hosts were very kind and went well beyond the call of duty for running a B&B. They are passionate about sustainable tourism, but even if you don’t give a hoot about this kind of thing you can still have a lovely time here because the room was clean and warm and the breakfast was fabulous.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The geese chasing my husband into the apartment and hearing him screaming!2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Go and visit Arundel, although if you want to go into the castle check the opening times. Take a trip to Bosham and Amering. The food at the Lamb Inn, Pagham was very nice - a limited menu but freshly cooked. An excellent revival of the Prawn Cocktail.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
The Lodge was very environmentally friendly, it brings trade to the local pubs and places of interest especially as the hosts are keen to recommend local venues. They even offer to pick you up in the morning should you leave your car after having a couple of drinks.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
The accomodation is superb - a beautiful self contained, modern room with the added twist of it being inside a chapel building. The breakfasts are varied and the portions are ample - something for everyone
