Isle of Mull b&b accommodation, independent reviews

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Making sure that I drove slowly enough NOT to drive into some of the sheep, cattle, deer that like to sit and ruminate on the roads! The glorious autumn sun on the turning leaves. Not New England, but very beautiful. Ambling along the white sandy beaches and having them to myself, more or less!
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Make sure that you add in travelling time from your accommodation to the ferry. Ensure that you don't have to get up at some awful, un-holiday like time of the morning to get there.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes I did. The B&B that I stayed at on Mull had recycling, green choices of soaps, local sourcing of food, etc, reflective surfaces behind the radiators...I could go on.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
I really enjoyed the holiday. I felt very welcome and at ease. The owners were friendly and full of information about all sorts of things from the weather forecast to what soap was in my room to where to eat and what to do. Mull of course is a glorious place and I just wish it was closer, but just as wild and wonderful.
