Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Seeing baby turtles emerge from the sand, watching orangutans in the rehabilitation centres, seeing crocodiles slide slowly from the bank into the river, sleeping in hammocks, swimming over coral with the creatures that inhabit it and watching my children so easily slip into the common language of friendship with locals who were kind, generous and so welcoming to us all. Those and many other memories will be a long time with me
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
If the holiday says you need to be fit - trust it knows what it is talking about it! Mt Kinabalu was one hell of a climb and my feet, knees and ankles reminded me about this for days after. The experience was worth it all though. Long sleeved trousers and shirts are a good idea in the evening to avoid mosquitoes. Book it. In no time at all you will be back at your desk or sitting on your sofa, except this time you can wander back to the crystal clear memories you have and recall the pushed up ones that unravel as you pick your way through the holiday.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
I was really impressed by the way in which (the tour operator) make good use of their position and that local payments can be seen in action, benefiting both people and environment.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Absolutely excellent. Some days, as in life, were better than others but even those days now that I am home appear to be full of enhancing life experiences that I would jump back to in a moment.
