Holiday Reviews

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

There were two really memorable parts of our holiday - one was turning up to an amazing game lodge in Amakhala Game Reserve, to find that the two of us had the place to ourselves! The other was whale-watching: there were Southern Right Whales swimming around and under the boat, and a hump-back whale breached right next to the boat, shooting out of the water and creating a huge splash as it landed.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Remember that the distances are a lot bigger than in the UK, and petrol stations may not be open 24 hours a day (which almost led to us being stranded...!)

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Definitely. Many of the places we stayed had close links with local communities, and were doing their best to help the in a sustainable way. We went on a tour of a township, which was eye-opening (and we didn't feel as though we were invading privacy or being awkward, as we had feared).

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Brilliant. We did so many things in two weeks that the holiday felt as though we'd been away much longer. Thoroughly recommend this company, and we would use them again.
