1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
It’s really hard to elect one most memorable part of this vacation as it was absolutely amazing and overcame our expectations! The group was very heterogenic and even so, was extremely friendly, tolerant, energetic, funny and proved to us that it’s unnecessary to know their profiles before meeting them. In fact, I would not recommend it.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
I would advise them to be prepared to walk on a quite fast pace for many hours, climbing hills and stairs in wonderful nature or medieval cities sceneries. Said so, I would also advise them to plan their luggage with special attention as the weather may change fast and drastically but they will have to carry it for several blocks and also take it over public buses and trains. I would hardly recommend that they enjoy the nice restaurants all over the itinerary and, if available, taste the marvellous truffles and seafood in Croatia. I would advise them to check the visa requirements that the nearby countries may require in order for them to enjoy some interesting daily trips to Bosnia and Montenegro.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
We could realize how the foreign money that tourism brings can help those countries to improve their economy and their local people. Our guide and the whole group showed real consciousness for the responsible travel and environment respect.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
The holiday is more expensive than the class of services it provide. I mean, for this price, the hotels could be more comfortable or better located. In many of them not even a TV on the room or a glass box in the bathroom we had. In others cities we were located more than 4km from the city center, having to pay for the transportation to and back the sightseeing points. Anyway, those were all absolutely overcome by the excellent places and terrific guide (in fact an amazing host!).
