Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Pow wow and sweat lodge. Seeing these traditions live on is incredible and I felt very privileged to have been part.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Do your homework and be very sensitive. Drop any expectations (sophistication of food, smoking etc) and feel honoured by the fact that we are being welcomed into the worlds of monetarily poor people. Walking boots, mosquito repellent, bed roll, ground sheet (I didn't mind the grass), and sleeping bag. The usual camping stuff.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
I hope so. I hope I gave something back in a spiritual sense. The organisers were fantastic, but I think it is a little risky who goes. Only one or two of my friends (admittedly the environmentally friendly ones) would have behaved appropriately.
4. Any other comments?
Overall rating: ***** Although I've been on one other equally good holiday in my life - it was seeing family though.
