Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The most memorable thing about the holiday was the warmth of the people in all the countries we visited. It just felt so safe (much more so than in Reading). The reaction we got wherever we went was just amazing. We felt like celebrities. The experience was totally humbling. The local knowledge of our tour guide enabled us to do things that we would never have been able to do had we gone on our own. It is hard to pick out a highlight as there were so many. Being guests of honour at a local harvest festival, watching a goat being sacrificed, the beautiful coast lines, the rainforest, the drumming, the mask ceremonies, the children running up to you, the orphanage (a surprisingly happy place), the safari park, the witches village, the markets - I could carry on all day. Despite the long hours travelling I never got bored of looking out of the window!
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
If you are concerned about what you may perceive as animal cruelty either don't go on this trip or be prepared to accept that different cultures have different values. Also give people the same respect that they give you and don't poke your camera into peoples faces without checking it is ok. There are no luxuries on this trip.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
I felt reasonably sure that this trip benefited the community. It is a thin line between spoiling places with tourism and befitting them it was clear to see which places had more tourists as people were begging but in the villages we visited way of the beaten track they weren't interested in money and just wanted to touch white skin.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
This was a unique experience and I felt sure I could do the same holiday again and have a completely different trip. 5 stars! Thanks for pointing us in the direction of this holiday
