1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The trip was everything we asked for, very much away from the crowds and it felt like we experienced some real Africa. The highlight was definitely the camel safari with the masai guides. We were exploring their back yard and our main guide Kitonga was absolutely brilliant. The most memorable part was tracking some elephants and getting within about 20 meters, some great pics!!
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
I would advise anyone booking this trip to consider the temperatures/time of year as it was pretty hot when we were there and sometimes not the easiest to walk in.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
The trip definitely benefited the local people, both in employment and conservation. The camel safari was definitely an environmentally friendly way to see the African countryside.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Absolutely a ***** trip and we have already been telling everyone that we are going back.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
From beginning to end the holiday was both exciting and memorable. The service staff in the camps were friendly and helpful and the guides who accompanied us on wildlife drives were all knowledgeable, and everyone had a great sense of humour. My own particular wildlife experience, especially in the Mara was, more often than not, nature in the raw: for example, without going into gory details the birth and death of two animals were witnessed within 30 minutes of each other.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take a decent pair of binoculars to bring the beasts up close, and sunglasses to keep the dust out of your eyes on drives in open-sided / open-topped 4x4s.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Local people benefited through employment, education and health (without exception, when I asked the local guides about the two Porini camps and the Ol Pejeta and Olare Orok conservancies that I stayed in, they all told me that they were more than satisfied with the inclusive nature of the arrangement). Both camps were careful in not impacting too much on the environment by using solar energy, burying bio degradable waste, and taking care of water use. Also the tented camps can be dismantled, leaving no trace.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
A wonderful experience: The tented accommodation, food and drink was good, the staff great and the wildlife experience beyond expectation.
