Slovenia family activity holiday for teenagers, independent reviews

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
- Canyoning in Bohinj
- Rafting on the Kolpa
- Kids camping 5 to a tent!
We had a great holiday. Guides were really helpful and great people, activities exciting, especially canyoning (though that was an optional extra) and rafting.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Do it!
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes. The bus trip to Osilnica at the end was rather long though-couldn't we have spent the last night at a hotel closer to Vinica? (though the one we stayed in was very good)
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Great! It catered for us and our kids very well. Guides were really helpful, good food, good company and good activities. Some of the details cold be fine-tuned though, as it's the first season for this particular holiday - e.g. more help for the guide on second night, as shopping, lugging food up the hill to hotel, then cooking BBQ, after setting orienteering, meant that he was pretty tired. More time in Ljubljana on last day. Check tents over thoroughly and repair guy ropes, holes in canvas etc.
Overall, 4 star holiday (or maybe even 5)
