Nile & Sinai holiday, independent reviews

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Climbing Mt Sinai in the very early morning to watch a spectacular sunrise, relaxing on the sun deck of our Nile cruise boat, visiting awe-inspiring tombs in the Valley of the Kings, and at the end of the holiday relaxing by the pool in Dahab and treating myself to a fantastic and much needed massage!
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take a blanket or a big fleece for the overnight train journeys, and a headtorch for the climb up Mt Sinai.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes, we used local guides at several sights and the optional activities also benefited local people, e.g. camel riding.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Really enjoyable and varied, and the couple of days at Dahab at the end were the perfect way to finish. Quite a few in the group suffered upset stomachs from the food, although I guess that goes with the territory.
