Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Glacier walking.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Make sure you take the correct clothing and always listen to the guide.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes, through responsible tourism and responsible tourists. I think the type of person on this sort of trip does not expect or want clean linen everyday etc. and is careful about litter etc. One is very aware that Iceland is a clean, unpolluted country and one almost wants to bring a bit of that home.
4. Any other comments?
**** Some stories to tell the grandchildren, I would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend. Except that the grandchildren went skiing in Norway and also had some good stories to tell granny.
I really am glad that I went on this trip and I hope more older people can be encouraged to take this type of holiday. Mentally it took a good few years off. At 62 it's encouraging to know that I am capable of keeping up with the people in their 20/30s. I climbed the highest on the ice climbing except for one chap who had done it before.
I will check out your web site when thinking about the next adventure.
