Holiday Reviews

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro tour, independent reviews

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

There were a number of great parts to the holiday and it is impossible to single out one simply due to the diversity of the experiences we had. The whole holiday was amazing, but if I had to name the top three things I would say (in no particular order!) going to Iguazu Falls (especially the boat ride under the falls!), the boat trip we went on in Paraty and just being in Rio.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

If you want to see Buenos Aries or Rio (and I suggest they're worth seeing!!) then make sure you book some extra days before and after the start and end dates of the tour. The tour leaves BA on the first day and arrives in Rio on the last, so if you haven't booked extra days then you'll get virtually no time in these amazing places. I know a few members of our tour group had not realised this and they ended up skipping a couple of days of the tour to advance ahead to Rio so that they could see it before they left Brazil.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Awesome!! :) Had a great time, saw some great places, had a really good tour group that gelled really well and had a great tour guide too - I often think it's the people that make or break an experience and this is the case this time, although the amazing places we went to helped a lot!!
