Holiday Reviews

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The Golden Temple at Amritsar, nothing could have prepared us for this wonderful sight, pure white and gold!! The feeding of the masses was like a well oiled machine, unbelievable. The Taj Mahal and the Ghats at Varanasi were close runners up.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Travel light, you don't need loads of clothes as washing can be done cheaply at the two night stays. Cotton is best. Take clorodine or pro biotics. Drink only water from known sources. Give a kitty to your guide to dispense tips etc. This is a fairer way of ensuring equal distribution of tips and stops quarrels among staff. Your guide knows best.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Europeans and other tourists do contribute as they provide employment in restaurants, hotels, sites of interest, taxi drivers, porters etc. I don't feel we adversely impacted on the environment. I would definitely recommend this holiday to like minded people

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Excellent.
