1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Practically all of it however the most exciting part was when we went kayaking on higher waterfalls.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

An ideal holiday for those who wish a different holiday, full of activities and adventure, the hotel is very close to the river thus very relaxing, no long distances to travel in coach, good holiday also for grown up kids as they have something exciting to do most of the time, the whole package is great (accommodation, food and activities planned).

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes I think it benefited local people.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

We give it a high rate since this was the best holiday we have had, kids loved it as well and we consider re doing it, maybe in a different season.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Sea kayaking around a small island off the coast of Croatia. It was beautiful and the sea was quite calm, although navigating the harbour 'shipping lane' with speed boats & yachts & a ferry continuously crossing our path added to the thrill for a nervous water-person like me. Zipping down the rapids on a river was fab too and my son loved going headfirst over a 10m waterfall! Paddling peacefully up rivers and swimming in their cool, clear depths was great too.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Go for it! The accommodation and location in Novigrad was fabulous, our leader was calm & knowledgeable, the trips had variety. All round good value. The only small point, we were a small family of 2 and I felt the leader tended to discuss options with the other larger family of 5 and give us the decisions later as a fait a compli, rather than consult both families together. Don't go to Biograd na moru after the trip, you will be sadly disappointed after the peace & beauty of Novigrad!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

The leader was Croatian, the accommodation was Croatian and we enjoyed buying food from local traders, so yes I guess so. Not sure about minimised impacts... 2 of the excursions started from the hotel, but there was a minibus journey 4 out of 5 days of approx 1hr.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Excellent and good value.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Several, plunging down a 4 meter waterfall on the Mreznica River, watching my 14 year old son dive of an even higher one, arriving on the ferry from Dubrovnik at Lopud and then seeing our lovely apartment!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Don't attempt to drive from the top of Croatia, to the bottom in one day, especially not in holiday season.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Definitely, particularly The Land of Waterfalls trip.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

We had disappointingly cold weather the first week for which we were not well equipped, despite this we all had a great fortnight .The holiday met the needs or adults and teenagers.
