Holiday Reviews

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The lovely hotel in Bangkok, the white water rafting, kayaking, snorkeling, staying on Ko Yao Noi, great food and supper at Eh's house, the hot springs and emerald pool, the bungalows in Krabi.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Take time in each place and not be in a hurry to move on. Learn customs and greetings etc. beforehand. Have the full addresses of the places where you are staying in advance as we did not really know exactly where we were staying beforehand. Take plenty of mosquito repellent and long sleeved clothes for evenings, also Immodium was useful although available in local pharmacy.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

As the bungalows where we stayed were run by locals and the guides were local we provided income. We hope Eh's family were paid well for the meal we had.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

A brilliant adventure with a wide variety of faces of Thailand: city, national park, rainforest, mangroves, islands, beaches, all very smooth connections and lovely local guides who became our friends. We were made to feel so welcome by all who we met.
