Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Yoga heaven! Outdoors, saluting the sun overlooking hills that take your breath away, or indoors in the most incredible yoga space I've ever come across: a geodesic dome nestled in the woods!
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
If you love ashtanga yoga, gorgeous home-cooked Italian vegetarian food, the beauty of nature laid wide open for you to dip into at will, meeting like-minded people who you can have fun with and relax with, then book now! Just make sure you go in the warmer months, May-August.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Absolutely. The very talented kitchen staff are all from the area. And to help this operator with their passion to preserve the environment, we recycled our paper, our bottles (glass + plastic), were careful with our water usage, every day, faithfully.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Uplifting and restorative - a beautiful haven of nature, and human warmth, combined with outstanding yoga and delectable culinary treats!

It was all pretty memorable and exciting, really.

Absolutely. It was very clear throughout the holiday that they are all about benefiting the locals and minimising the impact on the environment.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Really excellent. Beautiful views, lovely accommodation, superb food, mind-expanding teaching and very warm hospitality.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Butterflies flitting in and out of the dome while we were doing yoga, with the birds singing outside and the smell of the forest drifting through. Heaven.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Pack fewer clothes than you think you need - I spent most of my time in yoga pants and a t-shirt. Our weather was gorgeous - if it rained, I would imagine you'd need more things to entertain you. This is definitely one for people who want to chill out in a gorgeous environment but justify it with some sweating in the yoga department. i was glad I'd done a fair bit of yoga before coming, although there were a couple of people who hadn't, and they seemed fine.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes, local people employed there, lots of work for taxi drivers, and we were encouraged to minimise our use of water. Apart from that, eating sleeping sunbaking and doing yoga is fairly low impact anyway!
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Up there in the top ten holidays, the yoga was great, the food was delicious, the place was very very gorgeous and the people were lovely.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Just being around the place is incredibly relaxing. Whether that's wandering down
through woodland to attend the yoga sessions in their amazing geodesic dome, lounging around in hammocks in the Italian sunshine or just lazing by the pool. Oh, and of course there's the opportunity to have massages if you want them. I had the reflexology, and it was good! The yoga sessions were thoroughly enjoyable, the accommodation is simple but very comfortable and clean, and there's a very laid-back feel to the place.
I could write a whole review just about the food, but I'll just say that it's worth going for on it's own. It's fresh and delicious - I think I ate about three times as much as I normally would (though somehow managed to not put on any weight! It's magic!).
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be prepared for being in the middle of nowhere (which for me is a wonderful thing). If you want somewhere that's within stumbling distance of bars and a kicking nightlife, this is probably not the place for you. But it's within an easy drive/Taxi ride of Urbino, which is a beautiful town and has plenty of places to eat and drink on the free day. The food and wine is great though, and there's plenty to do in the free time between sessions - swim, doze in a hammock, go for a walk or even take a cookery lesson with the chef.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Absolutely. They employ local people wherever possible - the chefs, housekeeping staff and gardeners, and massage practitioners are all local. They draw water from their own well when that's possible, and encourage sensible use of resources and recycling.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
I'd rate it pretty highly. I loved that place, and its laid back attitude to the holistic stuff. I think somehow you get more out of a holistic centre like that than somewhere that takes itself very seriously. I've told all my friends about it already, and I hope they enjoy it as much as I did.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The location - it was remote, beautiful and very relaxing
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
This is a real get away holiday, so do not expect there to be anything other than some yoga. You fill the rest of the time yourself.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Employed local people and very environmentally conscious
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Location was great and very relaxing overall

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The setting - incredible countryside.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Try some yoga before you go. I wouldn't recommend it for absolute beginners. 20 hours in six days is very intensive - get the most out of it by being fit already - it's tough but rewarding
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Yoga in a tipi to the sound of cricket.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take some salad dressing (the food gets repetitive v quickly) - and ask for a fan if it's hot, they do actually have them.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
This accommodation is very environmentally aware, with its own well, and employs locals.
