Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Three main memories stick out in my mind
1. The third day on the dam site building, the most amount of community turned out on that day. It was brilliant interacting with all the members, 2 very different cultures working together to achieve one common goal.
2. My home stay. Got to spend a night ina real Kenyan house spend the whole day with them and see how their lives are very different from ours. Also learnt a bit of KiKamba
3. Seeing the sunset over Killy with a heard of elephants infront of us!! Now that is goose pimples one of the most beautiful sight I think I will ever see.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Find an organisation whom believes in the same things as you do. Your experiance will be miles better for it!!! for example I am vey keen on responsible travel, this operator are very responsible travellers and that suited me.
Do your reasearch and make sur you know what you are getting into and when you get there have no regrets and just immerse yourself in the environment you are getting in to you will benefit so much more.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Definately. We built 2 dams and started on a third hopefully that will go towards providing water for a long long time for the communities. The communities really appriciated us being there and made us feel very welcome. They really enjoyed talking to us and we loved being with them.
We we constantley informed of our impact on the envireonment. we all ofsetted our carbon footprint when flying and tree planted whilst we were out there. The environmental impact was minimal, it is important to appriciate the environment you are in a respect its cultural diversity.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
An absolutely life changing experience. The best ever, something to do with the trip crosses my mind every day!!! That must mean it was something special!!!
