Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Too many to pick one, the whole holiday was memorable. Best bits include;
- amazing scenery from the beaches to virgin rainforest
- sleeping in the jungle
- varied and interesting rides
- riding through paddy fields
- fireflies on the night river safari
- orangutans
- climbing Kinabalu
- the people (from the friendly locals, fellow travellers & the guides)
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Train for the descent off Mt Kinabalu - my legs are still sore after 4 days! I did some moderate training before I left which was adequate. It was only the walk off Kinabalu which really hurt. Body wipes come in handy after a muddy / sweaty ride. Have a massage at the Eurocafe on the waterfront in KK when you finish the holiday.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
We didn't see any tourists until we got to Kinabalu National park so I felt that we were really putting money to the local community.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
One of the best holidays I have been on. The itinerary was really well designed and the holiday was well organised. We really got off the tourist map and saw some amazing sights. The riding was excellent and every day was different.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The hospitality of the local people.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Make sure you are up to climbing the mountain as it is achievable but tough.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes to local people who had set up ventures on their own initiative such as the Jungle camp but environmentally it is a disaster with all the trucks in support and flying internally.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
9/10.
