Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Staying at Jowalbinna - the long drive up the access track across the Savannah, the quiet and remote location, the rock art, the dawn, the wallabies and boomerang throwing.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
It gets cold at night in the huts at Jowalbinna. Bring warm night clothes.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Benefited local people in supplying services, and the Walker sisters seemed genuinely grateful that we had come to hear about and understand their traditional way of life and the unique way they view the landscape. Using the Bloomfield Track did not minimise impact on the environment because it generates a lot of dust which covers trees and eventually washes into the sea, damaging coral, and clouds of dust also means that it is not possible to see the forest. The track itself has severed a strip of forest that lies between the sea and the track.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Very good, especially our friendly guide, John Hogan, who seemed to know everything there is to know from the functioning of the vehicle's four wheel drive system to the details of every plant in the forest!
