Holiday Reviews

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Overall, the scenery. From Franschhoek to Hermanus to the Cape of Good Hope everything we say was unbelievably gorgeous and unspoiled. Really liked the wildlife in its natural habitat...penguins, porpoises, baboons, ostrich and dassies apart from the wildlife on the game reserve.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Consider keeping a car for the entire time if you like driving. You can do most of the tours on your own.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Certainly, the Game Reserve benefited the local population of Toewsriver and we tried to support local initiatives when buying merchandise and souvenirs. As for impact on the environment, we could have rented a smaller car to pollute less and save fuel.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

A most memorable holiday... the people we met and interacted with were without exception warm, open and most service-oriented. What a beautiful 9 days!
