Holiday Reviews

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

It was all equally memorable.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Be prepared for cold weather even in late March especially in the desert.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

We spent a night in a Bedouin tent instead of a hotel which clearly gave them some income.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Absolutely first class. From a tourist point of view, Syria does not deserve its reputation. The people are charming and very welcoming. There is very little hassling in the souks. The ruins can be truly impressive. Damascus and Aleppo are cosmopolitan cities.
