Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Perhaps the first place I have visited (including developed countries) where there was not a blatant difference between rich and poor. The calm friendly nature of the people.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Always make sure you see a menu or agree the price for a meal. One restaurant in Havana tried to charge us (we believe) double the price. We refused to pay and it was reduced substantially. Just to add that it was a nice meal and we were quite taken aback that even when trying to rip us off they were still very polite and the staff did not gang up on us to extract the higher price.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
We eat both at state restaurants and paladares, so felt we were supporting both the government and hopefully the general population but also encouraging those who were more entrepreneurial.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent. Up there as one of our best holidays.
