1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The accommodation was comfortable, beautifully decorated, situated in the prettiest countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed cycling in the lanes, there was good walking and some great mountain biking too. It was one of the most peaceful places I have been. Gorgeous wildflower garden.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Think about taking some of your favourite cooking ingredients because there isn't everything you'd want at hand and the nearest shop is a fair distance.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes definitely. We pre-ordered groceries from the local farmers. We hired bicycles from a local business. We ended up with very little rubbish thanks to the compost heap and all the re-usable facilities on hand.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The countryside in this area is beautiful; forget Tuscany – go to Shropshire!
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take books for evenings and rainy days. Holing up in the cabin during bad weather is a cosy, peaceful pleasure, a good antidote to hustle and bustle.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
This accommodation is set up so as to minimise the impacts of tourism – and set up so well you do it without thinking. This is no hair shirt of a holiday, but you do feel virtuous afterwards. The area is fantastic for buying local produce, organic produce and good food generally, and the whole county seems to be geared up to eco-friendliness which is impressive. It’s heartening to see!
