Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Most memorable was reaching the Toubkal summit. The most exciting was the slide down the snow slope. The most enjoyable was making new friends in the group.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take plenty of warm clothing and a warm sleeping bag for the night camping before the Toubkal ascent. Make sure you are fit before going, it will make it so much more enjoyable. Take plenty of money into the mountains with you, this will be useful for tips, food and drinks and local gift shops etc.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes definitely but it would have been better to have had a little time to purchase gifts etc from the local mountain shops to support their lifestyle.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The landscape. The evening around a campfire with the Berber camel drivers singing and getting us all dancing.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Learn an easy song in your language - if its this time of year a Christmas carol - they asked us to sing and we were rubbish! Take WARM clothes and heavy sleeping bags and or liners.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
I think so - local guides were great - very informative and lovely people. Apart from Marakech we shopped and stayed in towns that don't get much in the way of tourist income other wise. And left no trace in the desert.
