Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Sleeping out in the desert at night with the Bedouin people - games and songs round the fire, amazing stars, beautiful sunrise, very peaceful.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take lots of hand-wash and clean your hands after touching the money and before all meals - stops you getting the runs! Keep some money back for Cairo bazaar - it's amazing and you'll want to buy so many things.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes. But the Egyptians could do with some training to have more respect for their own environment.
4. Any other comments?
Yes 4 and a half stars - several stories to tell grandkids, one of the best holidays I've been on - a complete break.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Desert + felucca
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Slow down, relax. Once out of Cairo, the pace slows right down, so enjoy!
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes, but the amount of litter on Nile banks was upsetting. We didn't leave any, but can your tour company put pressure on Egyptian tourist agencies to insist that felucca / boat groups take away their litter? Used toilet paper was the least of the problems - heaps of empty beer cans / food wrappings etc, were just let on farming land.
