Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The Cherry Blossom Dance of the Meikos in Kyoto. And the Puppet Theater in Osaka. Actually the whole trip was a highlight.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
On this trip you get only Japanese meals, also for breakfast. Not to take a lot of luggage. The easiest is to carry a backpack.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
We think that giving everybody of the group his/her own chopstick (waste of wood), a textile bag (instead of using plastic bags) and travelling with public transport is not such a big benefit for the local community. Of course it is minimising environmental impact and it is at least a very good beginning. And we support this by all means. Our guide was encouraging the group and explaining the idea of responsible travel from the beginning of the trip. I am sure if all travel agencies would advise their groups about responsible travel then it would make a big difference and maybe in the end also change the attitude of the locals.
