Rio to Buenos Aires holiday, independent reviews

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

We particularly enjoyed the ranch stay and the Iguazu falls. Buenos Aires was also a fantastic city.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

If you don’t know any Spanish or Portuguese, make sure you take a phrase book. Also, a small point but you tend to get your feet wet and so some decent walking sandal footwear that dries out quickly is a lot better than trainers. Take a travel pillow and MP3 player for the coach journeys too. A boat ride into Iguazu falls itself is fantastic, as is seeing a Tango Show in BA and going to a Samba club in Rio.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Pretty much.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Brilliant - 9.5 out of 10!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Hiking for the day in Illha Grande and two dogs coming with us, walking for hours around Paraty, best pedicure ever in Salto.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Do more research, take more warm clothes as you can always buy t shirts, but try and buy a fleece!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes I do, as most money spent was to individuals rather than large companies, where we ate and slept etc.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Amazing, one of the best ever.
