Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Everything about this trip was great, but memories of the magnificent mountain scenery I'm sure will stay with me forever.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
As they say in the ad, Just Do it. But if you're going in July/August don't forget your midge repellent.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
I'm sure tourism is important to the local economy & it was great to see how many of us traveled up by public transport, thus minimizing the impact on the environment.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
A beautiful spot, great company, fantastic food & wonderful walking.

Seeing an otter catching a fish alongside the boat then turning to look at us with it in its mouth.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be aware that if you book as a solo traveller you will certainly have to share very confined quarters!
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes, though a lot of organic waste was thrown overboard.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent, great food, great walking, shame about the weather.

A beautiful clear day on Ben Macdui.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Remember that in Scotland it's very easy to experience 4 seasons in one day - especially on the west coast in October. Make sure you go suitably equipped!
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Very good.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The scenery would rival any I personally have seen in my travels, but we were lucky with the weather. I'd certainly recommend the holiday.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be prepared for walks over 10 miles a day and ascents over 3000 feet, but there are alternatives on offer for easier days.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
It definitely contributed to the local economy.
