1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The whole trip was memorable for the camaraderie, the knowledge of the guide and the food at the agroturismo farm.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Be prepared to be flexible and have good walking trainers as some of the walking is on uneven shingle, not suitable for hiking sandals

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

We were very concerned that the guide had not been pad for previous trips by the tour company and this was very embarrassing for us to find this out by accident. The use of local trains and buses as good and the stay on the farm was really enjoyable.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

The holiday was a great family holiday. The hotel in Naples was poor and its location was not the best and made one feel very uneasy. It would have been better to stay on the edge of Naples in a better location and travel in by bus or train. The rooms in Naples were poor, with very poor showers and air conditioning. It didn't give a great start to the holiday and didn't feel like value for money. On the other hand the farm was superb. Rustic but with excellent food, very hospitable and friendly staff who made you feel as if you were a guest in their home, not just a tourist.

We were pleased to see you enjoyed the family holiday, especially the agriturismo. It truly is a great, homely place. All properties on this trip have been personally vetted by our Italian Product Manager and so we know them to be of a good standard for our holidays. The hotel in Naples was chosen for its location close to the train station and bus stops, which means it is easy for families to get to the hotel when they arrive and it saves time on getting to sights and enables more time to enjoy them. This tour uses lots of local transport as it's the best way of experiencing a country and so we thought that this hotel would make the best choice in Naples, given its close proximity to the stations. Following this season, however, we will be reviewing our choice of hotels, we will closely analyse our choice in Naples and, if we can find a more suitable family option, we will of course consider this to make a good holiday even better!
