1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The scenery when arriving at Kolocep Island, swimming in the Blue Cave and Dubrovnik Old Town.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Make sure you are relatively fit before you go. Although the kayaking pace is adjusted to suit everyone it could be frustrating for others if you're unable to keep up. I was unprepared for 3 days of bora (wind from the mountains) and didn't take any warm clothes, although I think this is rare for the time of year, and take a 3 pin plug adaptor (maybe it was just me who didn't realise you needed one).
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
As there were no cars on the island we had very little chance of negatively impacting on the environment. The locals kept the island exceptionally clean and the accommodation I stayed in was spotless. As it is not very commercialised all the local shops and services are local. Don't expect a Mc Donald's or Burger King.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Better than my expectations. The company of the group was good and our guide was brilliant at looking after us, also good company, pleasant and experienced. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this type of holiday to anyone travelling alone. The food was generally pretty basic, although we had some very good food on occasions. If you don't like fish, white crusty bread, cheese or cabbage you may be disappointed.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Canoe safari down the zmyrna river, also free paddling at sea. Swimming at a "secret spot" in the Paklenica park was also magical...there was a moment every day actually. Our guide was great too.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be prepared for action...we went to bed happy and tired every night. We also took an apartment for a week after the holiday to chill out mmmmmmmmmm
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
We shopped and self catered totally in the village, home produced fruit and veg, and locally caught fish. Hoteliers and guides and company all Croatian natives. We were all driven together so minimal vehicle use
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Highly recommended, felt like we saw places we would not have found for ourselves without a lot of trial and error.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
All of it! I guess the day we went on the Zrmanja and Krupa Rivers, - it was simply beautiful. Kayaking down rapids and swimming under waterfalls that we would have only got to because we were taken on the day.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Go for it! Make sure that you have a chat with your guide if you do the 8 day trip with what your expectations are. If you have a beach day then be clear on what you want to do with it so you can get the advice and information you need before that day.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
We had both Marco and Davor as our guides and both were very knowledgeable about the area and also used local organisations. Yes. The option was to eat at the hotel or in the small town - we shopped and ate in the small town which had great food and not geared up just for tourists.
4. Any other comments?
**** or ***** stars... it certainly was the first adventure holiday we had been on and it surpassed our expectations. And we met some very wonderful people who were also on the trip. In fact there were 12 of us taking part in the holiday 6 English and 6 Germans. The pace and people were wonderful. We would book again through responsible travel and would use this operator if going back to Croatia.
