1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Morning and evening walks in desert, sleeping under stars, extraordinary landscapes, meeting Tuareg... I could go on.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Don't expect everything to go according to plan, be flexible taking and enjoying changes to the itinerary as part of the overall experience.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Obviously it benefited those we came directly into contact with such as drivers, guides, hoteliers and souvenir sellers, but I can't say to what extent the wider community benefited. All involved were meticulous in rubbish collection... but inevitably travel was in 4x4.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent. Well organised and group leader sensitive to the differing interests of the individuals in the group as they developed with their experience of the desert.
