1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The whole trip was AMAZING, but being in the mountains was my favourite part - especially since my guide and porter were so great.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

If you plan to trek in Nepal use this operator because every aspect of the service they provided was excellent. From the speedy response to my first (and all subsequent) e-mails to being met at the airport and then taken into the Annapurnas and adding on more days to my trekking itinerary while in the mountains, my trip was enhanced by the excellence of all at the tour company.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes. The one thing that could be emphasised to travellers more is not to put toilet paper down the toilets.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Excellent.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Passing the thorung la pass.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Go through this operator. They are brilliant. And ask for Nema as a tour guide.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Fantastic. We had a great time and this is mainly due to our travel agent who did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend this operator and I am happy to provide further feedback as necessary.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Trekking the last stretch up to Annapurna base camp in the sun-set. Warming up with Masala tea on numerous occasions while surrounded by mountains in the early morning / late evening light. Our brilliant guide and porter looked after us and kept us informed and entertained very well!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

If possible have the guide involved in planning the itinerary with the tour operator, as they are likely to have extra local knowledge (e.g. knowing certain lodges likely to be booked up, which affects how far can be ascended in one day). Bring (or hire in Nepal) a very warm sleeping bag.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Staying in tea houses rather than camping allowed a bit more interaction (social and economic) with local people. The difference in prosperity of villages on the more popular trekking routes compared to those which had fallen out of favour was marked - it really demonstrated how dependent on tourism many people seem to be.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Brilliant - well organised while being flexible enough to include just what we wanted; an amazing place and lovely people which made we want to return to Nepal and trek some more!
