1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

It was all pretty amazing....but I particularly loved seeing some of BC's wildlife up close and personal. The whole thing was completely fantastic though...the company, the camping, the kayaking, the craic... when can I go again?!!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

I left my book and ipod behind, thinking they'd get wet, but we had a lot of time to kill on the island we were camping on. So make sure you have some form of personal entertainment for the long lazy evenings!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Not sure how it would benefit local people, as we didn't meet any, but kayakings certainly an eco-friendly way to get about.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

I loved it and have already recommended it to friends. I am already putting money aside to do another trip next year!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

There were so many exceptional moments so rather than pick one I will share the best of them. Seeing the Grizzlies fishing for salmon, watching orca surface in the eerie mist of early morning, hundreds of porpoise in convoy surrounding our boat, kayaking in the Clayoquot Sound where the constantly changing cloud and mist made the surroundings transform into numerous spectacular outlooks, eating breakfast in a hotel which was formerly a church (the breakfast table is located where the pulpit used to be and the view is amazing), and the incredible food and guides provided my Majestic Kayaking.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Take warm clothes. I had to buy a very thick wind-proof fleece and I was there in July. Take wine on the kayaking portion of the trip so you can sip it as the sun goes down with your kayaking buddies.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Absolutely. Kayaking had very little impact on the environment - for obvious reasons - and all the trash taken in to the Sound was also taken out. The other outfits - namely grizzly tour and orca watching - used boats, but they were unobtrusive when it came to proximity and sound near the wildlife. Locals ran each tour so you know the money is going back to the local community in each area

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Truly outstanding. I loved it!
