1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

There were actually several memorable things:
* Hiking to the summit of Hvar island which offers splendid views of the island and the surrounding islands and mainland.
* kayaking to local small islands
* sailing to Vis island
* having a great guide to show us around.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Booking this holiday was very easy. Veselka, our guide, was very helpful in providing information and replying quickly to our emails. Make sure you allow plenty of time for transfer between Hvar and mainland as ferries are not frequent.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

We used the only local adventure company on the island which is really focused on developing responsible tourism and preserving the island and its natural and cultural heritage while private individual or corporate economic interests are going sometimes against this noble objective. We were staying at our guide's mother's B&B and could sample some great home cooked food. Our holiday benefited the local people with the purchase we made from a local delicatessen shop and a local wine testing bar that our guide advised us to go to as well as local bakeries and grocers selling local products.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

A great option to discover Hvar away from the mass tourism and get great insights with a local guide. We highly recommend using this company for their expertise, professionalism, commitment, flexibility and friendly approach.
