Holiday Reviews
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same trip can have different views!

The yoga was great and was taught in the gardens of a beautiful villa in Denia old town.

It's your holiday and you can tailor it to suit your own needs. I would recommend staying at the hotel Chamarel, absolutely stunning hotel with heaps of character and charm.

Yes, the hotel has many fixtures and fitting to reduce environmental waste.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
In September this year I had the most energizing experience with like minded people whilst on a 5 day Yoga break which has rekindled my interest in practising Yoga regularly.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Have an open mind about the additional therapies which are available and try something new.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
We stayed at a the Hotel Chamerol in Demia, which I would never have found on my own but it was absolutely charming in an old fashioned way but had all the modern conveniences necessary not to mention the resident artist and all her wonderful paintings. She and her husband own the hotel, not only is it their business but also their home and it felt like you were within a home and not just a hotel. Being smack bang in the middle of old Demia meant that you experienced the history and soul of the place too, and the only "miles" travelling once you unpack are "on foot" miles.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Brilliant I will definately be back.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
I really enjoyed the horse riding and thai massage
2. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes, in that all of the services which we had the chane to take part in were from people who lived in the area, the hotel which was chosen was very actively involved in envrionmental issues, recycled, no waste!!!
3. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was fab! fab! Fab!
Nicloa and Gary are wonderfull hosts, really knew the area and were warm and decent people. The people who attended were also really nice - I am thinking about going back in April!!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
For me the best part of the holiday was the meditation session. It was completely new for me and quite amazing - something I shall pursue. Otherwise I would say that the town of Denia was so tranquil, and the people so kind and nice and friendly it felt like home from home.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take a travel kettle to make cups of tea!! - we all really missed being able to have a cup of tea and take some transportable foods - ie fruit and nut bars etc., as these not available and there is a long time between the two meals, which were not especially tasty, but I know that Nicole is working on improving this.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
I hope that this is the case. I tried to buy locally made items to take home, but they were difficult to find. Hopefully we didn’t impact too much on their environment.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
The holiday was lovely but like all wonderful holidays too short! The hotels and their staff were superb, nothing was too much trouble especially at the Nou Roma where I was. The town was beautiful, so clean and as I said before all were so welcoming. I would have liked a swimming pool but it was a small thing. I enjoyed the Yoga and the Pilates, although at beginner level, allowed me to go back and re-examine my positions. I would highly recommend this holiday to anyone interested in understanding Yoga/Pilates/Meditation.

Just wanted to say in reply to Wendy's notes...Re: The meals... We too were disappointed with some of the vegetarian dishes the chef chose to prepare on this holiday. His normal flair & passion seemed to be amiss this time - I guess everyone has their "off" days. However, not one's to rest on our laurels; we have already met with him and have an 'all new menu plan' which will be rolled out on the very next holiday. Thank you Wendy though for letting us know, we truly cannot improve unless we have honest feedback.
Re: Impact on local environment... We have an environmental policy which includes details on how we work to minimize ours & our guests’ impact on the environment. The policy is easily accessible to all guests - we tell them where it is located - but we let them read it at their leisure rather than reading it verbatim to them.
