Our philosophy is to offer you a high quality, sustainable eco-tour on bicycles. The tours are based directly upon our own personal experiences of spending time over the last few years, in the NSW Rainforests on our mountain bikes. We wish to share with you this "local knowledge" seeing and feeling the bio-diversity in the delicate environment. The natural attractions of the World Heritage properties are environmental and cultural icons. They are special places, where "treading lightly" is encouraged and your co-operation in the preservation of these areas, is appreciated.
We use supplies from local producers and business and employ local people and all our tours operate through the National Parks and wildlife strict tour operators program. We are very aware about the impact of our operation on the environment and bike on established fire trails and off-road trails or single-track only if it is sustainable managed.
We never ride in off-limits areas such as designated walking tracks etc., all tours have a strict no-rubbish policy and we also encourage guides and passengers to pick up what others have left behind. We have small groups to maximise enjoyment and impact. Our tours encourage acknowledgement of local aboriginal bungalung people and respect to the privacy of the local communities that we visit, and recommend a sensible approach to cultural differences. We only visit indigenous or local communities that openly welcome tourists and where trained local guides accompany the group at all times.
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
