How this holiday makes a difference
Environment
Our winery tour carries a maximum of 22 people on the standard tour and a maximum of 12 people on the deluxe tour, which lessons the impact of exhaust fumes on the environment by using the one vehicle. We pick up all guest which promotes responsible driving. We also offer rubbish bags on each bus which promotes guests not to litter. We use re-usable containers and crockery for our lunch service on every tour. Our office uses minimal paper, and we also have recently replaced all old light globes with energy efficient bulbs.
Community
Our company has been locally owned and operated by a Margaret River resident for the past 21 years. Our staff are all local residents from around the Margaret River and Busselton regions. We employ people from all walks of life, including different religious beliefs and indigenous people. All our staff are trained by other employed qualified guides. All our products and items used in our business are sourced from South West suppliers. We support local businesses by taking our guests to sample their products.
Everyday we offer a different itinerary so every business gets an opportunity to sell their product. We also offer guests information regarding the town with restaurants that are fantastic, super market locations and taxi details. We support and volunteer our services to the local environment groups, Cape to Cape Catchment Group (based in Margaret River) and Geo Catch (based in Geographe region).
We are also members of the Previlly Wilderness Society. We also donate tickets for our tours to many southwest charities, schools and community organizations for fundraising. These include Banardo’s Children’s Charity night at Watershed Winery, Cowaramup BMX, Western Australia Child Diabetes and Princess Margaret Hospital are just to name a few.
