We design and operate our tours in a way that provides the highest degree of long-term economic benefit to the communities we work with, whilst also maintaining the environment in which we work.
We aim to use local suppliers wherever possible.
We take into consideration economic, environmental and cultural issues when looking at the tours we develop.
We aim to achieve a zero litter policy on all our tours.
We aim to work closely with all relevant local bodies and authorities to raise awareness of homelessness issues that affect some staff members.
We encourage our customers, through our website and staff, to act in a socially responsible way.
We attempt to integrate the ethos of responsible tourism throughout our organisation.
As well as assisting our homeless guides through our social enterprise – whether by offering them paid work, practical help they may need, or by raising awareness – we encourage many of our customers to bring unwanted clothing and goods to be distributed to the homeless.
We have a Code of Conduct for everyone involved in the enterprise.
In the office we recycle our printer cartridges, paper is always reused where possible before recycling and we have started to use recycled paper for our printing.
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
