Cayman Brac day tours
How Cayman Brac day tours makes a difference
Environment
Working within our local environment daily, we are reminded of the importance of preserving and sustaining it. Our work schedule includes daily maintenance to ensure that the habitat of flora and fauna are kept in its natural state and that human interference is kept to a minimum. Tour Guides travel the trails daily conducting a survey of the condition of each trail and preserving its natural state. Throughout the island the habitant of resident and migratory fauna is examined. Visitors to the sites are educated about the importance of each species of flora and fauna found on the island, are shown their habitat and are encouraged to keep it pristine. Informative panels also help to educate visitors and locals like on the species that make their home on our beautiful island. Partnerships with government departments local service organizations support conservation efforts of habitats and educational programmes provided to the community.
Community
Living on a unique terrain, we provide the utmost of safety for visitors and locals alike when partaking in our free tour service. Through our free tours we are able to educate the general public on the rarity of our natural product and the lifestyle of our people. Guests on tour are taken on island or nature tours based on their specified requests. They are provided with an opportunity to see and interact with local and migratory species of flora and fauna and are able to meet local residents to learn about our colourful heritage, history and culture. General points of interests are highlighted in our brochures and local hotspots are indicated throughout the tour. A stop at our bakery, one of our local restaurants or secluded rest spots is often requested by our guests. A visit to the Cayman Brac Museum or Cayman Brac Heritage House is also encouraged to relieve our past or to practice local traditions with a modern flare.
