Description of Lanzarote yurt holiday with pool

Enjoy a unique holiday in an authentic Mongolian yurt, ideally sized for couples or families, at this peaceful Lanzarote eco resort. Set just back from the beach and with exotic, mature gardens to wander at your leisure, the resort is situated close to the traditional fishing village of Arrieta, with plenty of restaurants and shops a short walk away.

This spacious and stylish yurt is located within its own grounds, and comes with a private, solar-heated plunge pool. A daybed perches on an elevated platform offering magnificent sea views. Adjacent to your terrace there is a private, shaded kitchen and living area too. There is also a shower room, WC and outdoor bath located within your private terrace.

Inside, the yurt has a super king-sized double bed and a single, a seating area and polished concrete flooring – travel cot or z-bed can be added if you’re bringing the kids, or you can arrange for a separate childrens’ yurt to be set up in the grounds. All furnishings are handpicked for a ‘home from home’ appeal. You’ve even got a skylight, for star gazing in the evenings.

The resort, which uses renewable energy throughout, has a range of activities available either on-site or nearby, from yoga and Pilates to golf, surfing, mountain biking and windsurfing. The beach is just a kilometre away, a very easy walk.

For an unusual, stylish and wonderfully luxurious accommodation in Lanzarote, look no further.

Holiday information

We are off grid and we do not generate enough power to have charge points but there is one in Arrieta close by. All the cars that we offer are hybrids.

Responsible Travel

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

Green credentials include: led lighting, A+ class electric appliances, solar pool heating, solar water heater, half flush toilets, local produce box available to guests, within walking/cycling distance to amenities.

Waste reduction: We encourage recycling and ask guests to use the containers for paper, glass and plastic recycling provided locally in the village. Blue for paper and cardboard, green for glass and yellow for plastic containers, tins and cartons.

We also ask clients to think about their water consumption whilst staying on the island and to use water sparingly and shower instead of having a full bath tub.

Linen is changed weekly in order to save water.

This northern area of Lanzarote has a diverse range of fauna and flora especially unusual and interesting species of marine birds. The island has provided a welcoming safe haven for a large variety of resident and migrating birds and we are committed to their conservation ensuring it stays this way.

In our office we have low energy lighting, use laptops, reuse paper and recycle waste.

If you are looking for a car during your holiday we offer Electric and Hybrid cars, just ask for a quote. Whilst staying at this yurt you can walk to the beach and beach front restaurants its just 1km.

We also offer Holiday Extras which include our Paella night at Finca De Arrieta and Meals delivered you can choose vegetarian/plant-based and low dairy foods (which reduce CO2 emissions)

This particular holiday home has Solar water heater.

We use local suppliers such as builders, tradesmen, laundrettes etc...

All the staff are people resident on the island - many of whom are from Lanzarote, so we create good employment in the area.

We promote rural tourism and take measures to encourage our guests to spend and use facilities locally. We provide full information on local restaurants, local farmers markets, how to integrate with the local Canarian culture and purchase local products and even offer an optional local produce grocery box for arrival (additional charge).

Currently we sponsor the local Haria football team “Costa Norte” and organised the T shirts for their new kit for each season.

We also sponsor the local Punta Mujeres bowling club, a very popular sport in the Canary Islands. Canarian bowls (bola Canaria) is a sport that requires precision throwing.
