Dominica budget accommodation
Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your holiday will help support conservation and local people.

The Impacts of this Trip
Serenity Lodges Dominica also purchases vegetables and local items from our community. Locally owned restaurants are encouraged to our guest. We also encourage our guests to give donations to the local schools either by bringing items from overseas such as books, crayons, pencils etc or give monetary contributions to help promote education in our local community. Donations are also encouraged for the hospitals. Handmade crafts from the Carib Indians are encouraged to buy.
We provide information as regards our local community and our guest can enjoy their vacation in Dominica and the same time, respect the culture of the locals. Our guesthouse is locally owned hence, the local vibes is often promoted. There are local shops just a minute’s walk away - guests are encouraged to visit them and get to know the locals, who often are playing dominoes.
Training of our staff is offered both in house and sourced. The in house training is often geared at promoting our sustainable environment and doing our best to preserve such by being aware of our practices.
