Panel debate

This year, for the first time, we're including a panel debate: 'Tourist taxes - appropriate and useful or stealth tax?'. An increasing number of destinations are taxing tourists to ‘help manage the impacts of tourism’. Two sides will debate whether this is a) appropriate and useful or b) just another stealth tax (without representation*).

* No taxation without representation" is a slogan originating during the 1700s that summarized a primary grievance of the American colonists, which was one of the major causes of the American Revolution.

After each side has had their say they will take questions from the floor, and we'll finish with a vote.

Afterwards, we invite you to join us for a few drinks, because we love working with you and want to say thanks!

Tickets are available at £20 per person (+ VAT where applicable) by contacting your account manager.
Spaces are limited for our seminar, so book early to avoid missing out!
