1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The whole trip was short but jam packed with things we wanted to do so the whole trip was amazing. But the whole team on the ground and the organisation by the local operator made everything truly memorable. Rashid our driver was brilliant - punctual, knowledgeable, helpful and kind.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Cash machines charge around £5 for a transaction so it might be better to take as much cash as you need before you go. Many main places accept visa but tips and souvenir stalls/cafes in Petra for example will need cash. There are cash machines readily available in Amman though. The food market in downtown Amman is also a
great place to visit, it's very busy but the locals are friendly and helpful - you will definitely need cash here!
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
You can directly help local people through tipping. I also feel this trip benefitted the local tourism agency's staff, who were all brilliant.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
One of our best holidays ever!! Our tour group was just our family (3 of us, all women). We felt safe and looked after the whole time.

Our sightseeing tours are operated and led by local guides. We use local drivers and all tour arrangements are made by local staff. In addition we use locally owned hotels and restaurants and all their staff are employed locally. Part of the entree fees to all Jordanian historical sites contributes to local conservation. Concerning local community, we use locally owned hotels and restaurants and their entire employees are local people. We believe that the Responsible Travel concept has to be a two-way strategy with both the travelers and the local community gaining benefits. We benefit the local communities we visit using a wide scope of activities that have a positive impact on the local economy, directly by donating money to charity organizations, financially supporting some local communities and by recruiting employees who belonging to the local community. We encourage our guests to buy local products and make use of services that people local community offer. We help indirectly through capacity building projects we implement with our employees and through the experiences and culture exchanges that take place between the locals and the travelers during our tours.
