Small group adventure holiday
Whether you are travelling alone or with friends/family its good value, and a great way to meet new people! While itineraries are pre-planned there is plenty of free time to explore at your own pace. This trip will appeal to travellers of all ages who enjoy meeting new people as well as seeing new places.Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your holiday will help support conservation and local people.

Travel on this tour is completed using trains. In doing this, we limit our impact on road congestion and the CO2 produced by this tour is minimal. Travelling using widely available, existing infrastructure is one way that we make our tours environmentally friendly and it has the additional benefit of being able to meet locals whilst travelling.
Group Size:
This small group tour has a maximum of 19 people, meaning we have a low impact on the places we visit. This allows us to stay in smaller hotels that cannot benefit from large coach tours.
Our tour leaders ask that travellers respect signage, to take only photographs and leave no litter or waste behind. Clients are advised during the pre departure meeting to practise eco ways of travelling such as ensuring all lights are switched off in hotel rooms before leaving, reusing towels and bed linen and avoiding plastic bottles where possible. These points are reiterated by our tour leader while the group is travelling.
The Impacts of this Trip
We use small, locally owned accommodation wherever possible on this tour. This allows passengers to stay in more unique hotels and it directly benefits the local community.
This tour uses a local supplier and local guides for the excursion to Auschwitz. Not only does this inject business back into the area but having a local guide gives passengers insight that they would not otherwise have if visiting the site alone.
Accommodation and Meals:
Our tour leaders suggest local and authentic cafes and restaurants for passengers to dine at. This not only provides the best food experience but puts money back into smaller businesses.
Travellers are encouraged to learn a few words and phrases of the language and interact with the locals as much as possible to enhance their social experiences on tour. Travellers are also encouraged to take part in city walking tours, supporting local guides and learning more about the destination from local experts.
